MK Performance Horses is nestled on just over 17 acres right off Highway 377 in Stephenville, Texas.

A smaller barn with two 15'X20' sandy stalls with runs and one 15'X15' stall with no run. All lead to a pasture for group turnout.

Head trainer, Michelle Mohr, has experience riding, teaching, and showing in hunters, jumpers, equitation, halter, showmanship, western all around events, ranch horse classes, dressage, team penning and sorting, catch riding and so much more!

She has been the Head Coach for the Tarleton State University Equestrian Team since 2017 and under her leadership every year she was head coach, Tarleton State University had riders qualify in both western and hunt seat events at IHSA Nationals. Currently, the fences side of the team calls MKPH home. She, herself rode collegiately with the IHSA all 4 years of her undergraduate career and currently rides alumni with the IHSA. Michelle was the first rider to represent Tarleton State University at the National level.

Michelle believes that every horse and rider are unique and because of this, every horse and rider require a unique and specific training regiment tailored to their needs and goals. She takes pride in helping to form strong teams between her horses and riders.
